The question is: What will Adult Swim be offering that is Halloween-Themed?
I'm sure we'll see the usual Halloween-y episodes of Fox shows, Frankenhole, and other [as] originals, but there's also Toonami shows this year in One Piece's current arc (of course, we've been following that one since March so the "scare" factor has worn off considerably), and Parasyte's finale marathon tomorrow night.
Went out on what I thought would be a short term medical leave of absence, but the doctor procrastinated and delayed all the paper work. The people at my employer's leave management office weren't buying my story without the required papers turned in. They gave me penalties for each day of absence until the penalties reached the termination stage. Finally, the doctor got his butt in gear and started sending in the papers. I'm reinstated with full seniority. Now, it's just a matter of rearranging my money to get next month's bills paid. This would have been a total disaster had I not saved up money for such emergencies.
Lesson learned? I'm going to use a different doctor in any event that I need another leave of absence. I need one who keeps the paper work in order and on schedule.
"full seniority"....so what the f**k is "partial seniority"?
Sometimes, in the event of any break or gap in employment, an employee could be bumped all the way down to the bottom of the seniority list, regardless of how many years with the firm. It affects everything from pay rate to ability to bid on vacation time. "Full seniority" simply means keeping original place on the seniority list.
From what I understand, Casshern Sins, Samurai 7, Soul Eater, Black Lagoon, Hellsing Ultimate 1-8, Michiko & Hatchin, and Samurai Champloo all aired on the FUNimation channel before Toonami, along with current Toonami shows DBZ Kai and One Piece!
FUNimation Channel aired Dragon Ball for a stint but never Toriko or any form of DBZ or One Piece. I'm guessing TOEI wouldn't let them just run those on their own channel or something. I don't believe Hellsing Ultimate ran on there either but I might be wrong about that. The rest of those did though.
Is THAT right? Then why is One Piece disqualified from being a "cable original", when in light of that, it sounds at least as "cable original" as InuYasha: The Final Act was when it aired on Toonami? And for that matter, what about Shippuden and Hunter x Hunter? The answer is that ShowBuzzDaily's methods for qualifying a show as "cable original" are suspect at best, but we should be grateful we get the full ratings breakdown for OPM and Gundam, and hope that keeps going for JoJo and Gundam (and even later maybe Buu, JoJo, and Gundam or just Buu and JoJo?
It's just inconceivable that FC wouldn't have gotten to air Hellsing Ultimate 1-8 soon after they re-released 1-4 and released 5-8 on DVD in 2012. They had 2 years to play them to boost their DVD sales before they aired on Toonami in 2014. Of course, it's also believable that as far as all tiers of cable TV are concerned, Hellsing Ultimate 9 & 10 were indeed new to cable when they aired on Toonami in 2014.
