poor people should leave the shit alone then..

Hell I've worked my entire life to enjoy the shit..

and I somehow still ended up a slave to the state

who has to do the shit in a dark corner and jump through

flaming hoops, and press left, right, left, left, right, up,down

C,C,C, Y,B for the proper cheat code to make sure I don't

loose my job because that fvckin sexy ciggerette might

make me dirty for a month. I STARTED FROM RAGS REALLY.

I swear if anything didn't chap me more than people

    badmouthing pot.

    whatevah..

    New York Post....

This just in: BatBoy smoked weed as a adolescent!

Yeah, poor people shouldn't enjoy anything. They should only eat gruel and drink contaminated water so they have a reason to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and become millionaires.

You called down the thunder. Well, now you've got it!

ypu were serious right? I'm all for moderate welfare programs

but some dhit I;ve seen today literally makes me sick...

like a drug dealing expectant mother that attends her rehab

class with a stash strapped to her leg to sell while bumming

rides to W.I.C. appointments, and god can only remember

what else... went off on a tangent there... but let me tell ya.

IT WASN'T REEFER STRAPPED TO HER LEG.

    whatevah..

It's beneficial to the states that get hella tax revenue. And if people are going to use it anyway we might as well get that to benefit society.

Here in Cloud Cuckoo Land, there are no rules: There's no government, no baby sitters, no bedtimes, no frowny faces, no bushy mustaches, and no negativity of any kind. And there's also no consistency.

"For instance, people who have a household income of less than $20,000 a year comprise 19 percent of the population but make up 28 percent of marijuana users. And even though those who earn more than $75,000 make up 33 percent of the population, 25 percent of them are marijuana users. Having more education also seems to make it less likely that you are a user. College graduates make up 27 percent of the population but only 19 percent of marijuana users."

The premise of the whole article is justified by the stats it mentions in that paragraph. So I have some comments on these stats as well.

#1. It's written badly. It says poor people make up 28% of users. Then says 25% of rich people are marijuana users. To give us a straight forward comparison, they need to tell us what % of marijuana users are rich.

#2. Even if the stats were straight forward and it was an author mistake, it's not skewed very much. According to this study, poor people aren't THAT much more likely to use it. Like maybe if poor people made up 19% of the population and made up 70% of the marijuana users, I'd let the author get away with statements like "the typical user is much more likely to be someone at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder" No, Naomi, they're not "much more likely" perhaps "slightly more likely."

    1. No shit poor people are going to be more likely to use it. It's lets their mind wander out of the little dark gray poor person room society has locked them into. If you want to stop people from seeking chemicals just to feel for a brief moment that the walls aren't closing in on them, solve poverty. Don't throw them in jail or fine them for making a desperate reach toward mental liberation.

#4. Because poor people need to use up to a quarter of their income on pot, the author says the poor user's "daily life is driven, at least in part, by the question of how and where to get more marijuana." What does that mean exactly? Poor people's daily life is driven by the question of how and where to get everything, including rent money, healthy food, the next car payment, everything because it's all hard to get when you're poor.

In short, the author is a c**t who has probably never been poor.

yes, but these statistics even if they're right do not aid

the government in using marijuana as a scapegoat

unless they include actual instances of the plant

ruining someone's life or significantly contributing

to their moral (and/or) economic decline..

    Compare those statistics to alcohol??

Or any legal recreational drug for that matter..

It'd be hard to do considering there aint many..

Except for alcohol that's already ingrained in every

passtime/ tradition so hard a thread like this about

alochol would be of mythical stature.. At least to

my eyes.. Vote stoned for president. Legal weed for all.

(p.s. your drug awareness class wants their textbook back)

It's filled with a bunch of eronious/outdated shit about

marijuana anyway.. Stop reading that junk.

    whatevah..
