I need an outside opinion on a chord progression.

I have a song that uses a I - IV - I - V progression, with each chord lasting eight beats per measure. At certain intervals the I - IV parts change to I - I7 - IV - IV7, with each chord (including variations) lasting four beats per measure instead of eight, and the final half of the progression during these parts changes I - V - I - I (four beats per chord in this part of the measure).

Anyway I'm wondering if I should change the IV7 to IVm.

I don't really know what you're talking about.

I may have explained it poorly.

I could be wrong but I don't think the IV is a minor.

That would be the II,III and the VI.

Okay i explained it wrong lol

    The key im in F so the progression is F - Bb - F - C and then the variation is F - F7 - Bb - Bb7

So instead of Bb7 it would be Bbm

Because Bb7 and Bbm both sound good and work to create dissonance with F as the resolution. Just not sure which I should go with.

lol, you may be barking up the wrong tree. Though maybe not... I could be wrong but what about @Doom_Metal_Alchemist? Doesn't he play guitar?

Wish I could help but this is usually the part of the conversation where I get bored, zone out, and get on my phone to come here.

am I smilin enough? am I smilin too much? am I tucked in and buckled, do my tits touch? hi, how are you, how high are you?
less teeth and more tits its never enough. you'll never be good enough.
