    Ok now that I actually read the article. I do believe that the "news curators" had some personal views which affected their choices on deciding the latest trending topics. I believe its inherent in all humans to behave that way.

    For a moment I thought Facebook's motto was do good. But that's Google's. Facebook was doing God's work by making sure Breitbart .com was never was trending.
