I never bothered trying to finish it. Too much grinding for a shit story.

Not that much grinding really.. if you compare it to shit nowadays.
it was one of my first games when it came out.

after ff6 or 7 I didnt care to play the ones after.

Remember having FF1 and FF2 on the Game Boy Advance.

Holy shit that was a grind. Never finished unfortunately as I lost my GBA with the game inside at some point.

I remember there was a tombstone somewhere in FF2 that read "Here Lies Link." That was a kick.

I rented that when I was a kid. Lost interest immediately. Not sure I made it to the first boss.

FF4 on the Super Nes though, now that was a quality game.

Final Fantasy 1 requires almost NO grinding except for money. And even that isn't required.....Just change your armor according to the dungeon or area and you can power though almost anything except that Warmech thing that on the bridge on the way to Tiamat. That thing is redick.

Oh yeah, and it helps to know the gimmicks like silencing astos and using phoenix down on Lich......I think you can use break on Kraken, and death Tiamat (might not be Tiamat, but there is a boss you can Death)
